About

Jaya Kula [Jai-yuh Koo-la] is a nonprofit spiritual organization for people learning how to integrate authentic Tantrik View and practice into their everyday lives. Shambhavi Sarasvati is the spiritual director.

Our Mission

Grounded in the Indian traditions of direct realization Tantra (Kashmir Shaivism) and the teachings of Sat Guru Sri Anandamayi Ma, Jaya Kula exists to support its parishioners and all people in the natural process of unfoldment toward Self-realization.

Our Vision

We envision continuing to host a collaborative, sustainable, supportive mandala of people who are committed to the practice of direct realization Tantra and to becoming living examples of the human potential to embody wisdom, skill, compassion, tenderness, devotion, and spontaneity.

Jaya Kula’s Spiritual Director

Shambhavi Sarasvati’s principle training is in the View and practices of Kashmir Shaivism. Over nearly 25 years, she has been fortunate to have trained with several great teachers in this and other direct realization traditions, including Dzogchen. She is an initiate in the lineage of Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati of Rikhia, India.

In 2005, during a time of profound spiritual opening, Shambhavi recognized the compassionate presence and guiding hand of her Satguru, Sri Anandamayi Ma. Shambhavi hopes to bring more people to an understanding of the breadth and depth of Ma’s teachings.

Shambhavi teaches traditional Tantra in ways that can be easily integrated into daily life. Her View is that Tantra is a way to learn about and live in the fullness of Reality. This is Self-realization. Nothing more or less.
