with Shambhavi Sarasvati
What is it?
Beginning on October 24, 2011, Shambhavi is leading a Yatra, or pilgrimage, to Northern India.
“In the Footsteps of Ma” is taking us to places where Anandamayi Ma taught, wandered, and where she still inspires and guides us to deeper encounters with our real nature.

We are walking along ancient pilgrimage routes in Varanasi – the City of Shiva – and circumambulating the famous Shakti temples in the Vindyachal mountains, where we are even doing sadhana in a cave or two.
We are visiting Ma’s ashrams and meditating where she often sat and gave satsang to her devotees. The Yatra also includes visits to many other important spiritual sites where the vibrations of accomplished practitioners can still be felt and benefited from.
The Details
THE YATRA HAS NOW COMMENCED. If you wish to follow our progress, please follow Shambhavi on Google+. One of Jaya Kula’s students, Nandi, has also set up a Yatra blog where you can view photos of our journey.
