I'd like to add something from my own experience: Be certain you have an authentic spiritual master as your teacher/guru. If you do not, the outcome can be very destructive to your spiritual practice and mental well-being. If your teacher is as tangled up in egoic mind as you are the result is disastrous! Spend time observing the teacher before you surrender all; don't rush in. When you are certain; then surrender:)
May this be of benefit--

Hi there, Yvonne
I hadn't thought of arranging advance sales, but once the cover is done, I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion! Love, Shambhavi

Thank you for this instruction Shambhavi. I think the words which uctohed my need to absorb most, were about taking refuge in my real nature, about letting that guide each moment and the message that this feels relaxed and soft and natural.Something in me really felt unbound by these words and it is guidance I really needed right now to make choices in my life and to understand what is right for me as my life unfolds each moment.Thank you. I am deeply appreciative of your wisdom.

Hi Shambhavi,
It's been lovely following your travels from afar. I plan to be in pdx on the 14th for the Kundalini Tantra Introduction and for the open practice that day. You had mentioned to me that you would be doing a Samatha (spelling?) teaching sometime soon as well. Have you set a date for that?

Happy New Year!
with love!

I'll have to try your method, Mike! And that's an important point - that ghee is totally water-free. This is what gives it longevity and distinguishes it from simple clarified butter which is usually made on the fly and used immediately.

It is totally water free, and a nice amber color. I do leave it on the counter for weeks or longer. Usually I make one pound at a time which lasts quite a while for me.

Hi Mike,
I've never heard of this method - interesting! Is it possible to really get 100% of the water out this way? Do you store it outside of the fridge and find that it does not go rancid?
