Shambhavi will be offering samaya diksha, name initiation on July 8, 2017. This event is attended only by current initiates and those receiving a spiritual name.

Please do your utmost to arrive a minimum of a half hour early. No one will be admitted after 3:45pm.

Join Shambhavi and the Jaya Kula community for our annual celebration of wisdom in the form of Guru.

The Full Moon Day in the month of Ashadha (July-August) is known as Guru Purnima. It is the first full moon after the summer solstice and is considered to be a time of heightened susceptibility to receiving wisdom.

About the teacher

Shambhavi

 

Shambhavi Sarasvati is the spiritual director of Jaya Kula. Her principle training is in the View and practices of Trika Shaivism, the classical Tantrik tradition of Kashmir, and the Dzogchen tradition of Tibet.
