What you will receive

  • Detailed instruction in conducting a traditional 16 offering Tantrik puja to Lord Ganesha replete with mantra and mudra
  • Gayatri mantras specific to each deity and to Guru.
  • The ability to conduct personal pujas to other deities and Guru
  • An understanding of the esoteric meanings of the ritual and the offerings

Prerequisites: Puja Foundations or equivalent experience

Important note: This is a three-day teaching. The third day (July 13) will not show up on your registration confirmation email, and you do not need to register separately for the third day. 

July 11, 1-5pm:  View teachings and practical instruction
July 12, 1-5pm:  Practical instruction
July 13, 10-noon: The esoteric meanings of the ritual and the offerings

Equipment

You will need to purchase the elements of a puja kit before the teaching. The cost will really be up to you as the quality of puja equipment varies greatly. Please purchase them well before the teachings as most are NOT available in Maine and /or will need to be ordered online.

Shambhavi

 

Shambhavi Sarasvati is the spiritual director of Jaya Kula. Her principle training is in the View and practices of Trika Shaivism, the classical Tantrik tradition of Kashmir, and the Dzogchen tradition of Tibet.
