There are many possible trinities invoked by the three strands of the thread – Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva; Gayatri Savitri and Sarasvati; Kali, Laxshmi and Saraswati; the three states of waking, sleeping and dreaming; or the three nadis ida, pingala and sushumna, to name but a few.

I am wondering about this mantra and the initiation…Your description of it sounds like it must be…well I don’t think I have any words for how I imagine it. It just makes me smile to think of it.
