Bhuta Shuddhi is an ancient practice that opens the gates of the senses to the intelligence, creativity, and magic of earth, water, fire, air, and space. ~Shambhavi Sarasvati
WHAT IS BHUTA SHUDDHI?
Bhuta Shuddhi means purification of the five elements. This is a powerful Tantrik practice that puts you in direct contact with the enormous variety and subtlety of expressions of the elements in your everyday life.
Bhuta Shuddhi recalibrates your senses so that you can experience life more fully and participate more skillfully and intelligently in the communications of nature and circumstance.
What you will learn
- How the five elements function in cosmology, in everyday life, and as direct communications of enlightened essence nature
- Mantras for the five elements and how to chant them
- Yantras for the five elements. Yantras are geometrical ‘technologies’ that directly transmit the nature and wisdom of the elements.
- Bhuta shuddhi: A beautiful seated practice that engages the five elements and assists us to gain more access to natural wisdom
June 12, 1-5pm Pacific.

All Jaya Kula teachings offer “regular” and “low-income” options for registration. Just choose the option that’s appropriate for you. The students of Jaya Kula have generously donated and made it possible for us to offer additional discounts for people who cannot afford the low-income fee. Please email Shambhavi if this is your circumstance.
The “sponsoring” option is a higher donation amount. 100% of the difference between the “regular” registration fee and the “sponsoring” amount will be used to assist students who cannot afford the low-income fee. Sponsor donations will be used to both offer deeper discounts and to reimburse low-income students or people experiencing temporary financial hardships for part or all of their airfare to attend teachings and retreats.
The “Lakshmi’s Cupboard” option is for people not attending this teaching who wish to assist others to attend. Please write “Lakshmi” in the message line when making your donation so that your contribution can be earmarked for students in need.
