Calling on Grace introduces you to protection practices from Indian Hindu traditions. We do protection practices when we want to immediately connect to wisdom and solicit help. We can also do protection practices as a vehicle for reminding us of our purpose in life: waking up and discovering our real nature.
What you will learn
- The nature of protection from a nondual perspective
- A daily protection practice invoking your favorite deity
- Two mantra protection practices for emergencies
None. Everyone is welcome.
October 2, 9:30am-12:30pm Pacific
How to attend the Calling on Grace Teaching
This teaching will be livestreamed, and there will also be limited in-person attendance. We will be following all current government recommendations related to masking and social distancing for churches at the time of this teaching. As of August 3rd, all Bay Area counties have reinstated the requirement to wear face masks indoors in public settings regardless of vaccination status.
As government and health department guidelines are rapidly changing, we cannot make any definite policies about masking and social distancing at this time. More information will be posted here closer to the date of the teaching. Please click below for current Jaya Kula COVID policies.
About the teacher
Shambhavi emphasizes the more explicitly devotional teachings and practices of Trika Shaivism and Dzogchen and direct knowing through encounters with the wisdom of the heart. She is also known for making complex teachings about the nature of the self and reality understandable, practical, and always relatable to everyday experience. Her teachings are grounded in her more than thirty-five years of daily personal practice and personal retreats.
“Generosity is a fountain of living light at the heart of creation. Having opened your heart and recognized its identity with the heart of the divine, you want to be here giving and giving throughout your natural lifetime. This is the essence of realization.” ~Shambhavi
