Morning Worship with Shambhavi
Friday, Sep 17, 2021
Your Local Time:
10:30 AM EDT - 11:00 AM EDT
Note: For those in timezones far from California, note that the event date displayed is the date of the event in California.
Join Shambhavi and friends in spontaneous worship each Tuesday and Friday morning. We chant mantras, sing kirtan, meditate, breathe, connect, and heal.
Each year, Shambhavi chooses a theme for us to learn about, contemplate, practice with, and embody. Jaya Kula’s theme for 2021 is “Worshipping together.”
In honor of this theme, Shambhavi is offering more opportunities for our community near and far to come together in worship and to more deeply embody the bhava (feeling orientation) of worship toward everything and all.
“The realization of things as they really are and the supreme festival of your worship—one is intertwined with the other—and they always blossom In those who are filled with devotion.” ~ Utpaladeva

About the teacher
Shambhavi emphasizes the more explicitly devotional teachings and practices of Trika Shaivism and Dzogchen and direct knowing through encounters with the wisdom of the heart. She is also known for making complex teachings about the nature of the self and reality understandable, practical, and always relatable to everyday experience. Her teachings are grounded in her more than thirty-five years of daily personal practice and personal retreats.
“Generosity is a fountain of living light at the heart of creation. Having opened your heart and recognized its identity with the heart of the divine, you want to be here giving and giving throughout your natural lifetime. This is the essence of realization.” ~Shambhavi
