Trika Foundations is a four-day immersion for people who want to learn about the View and practice of the direct realization tradition of Trika Shaivism.

Trika Foundations gives you a complete, well-rounded daily practice and is open to everyone.

What is Trika Shaivism?

Trika Shaivism, also known as Kashmir Shaivism, is the direct realization Tantrik tradition from North India. It is related in its view and methods to other direct realization traditions such as Dzogchen, Daoism, and Chan Buddhism.

The essence of all direct realization traditions is the understanding that we have an innate capacity to discover the nature of the self and reality using our own minds and senses. Self-realization means that through the direct encounter with living presence, we naturally come to more fully embody wisdom, spontaneity, devotion, and compassion.

Trika Shaivism is distinguished by its emphasis on the heart as the gateway to primordial wisdom.
