5 Element Yoga with Susan Fauman ~ Livestream
Sunday, May 3, 2020
Take some time to reconnect with your body, energy, and mind through grounding and relaxing movement based on traditional hatha yoga and the five elements.
What’s 5 Element Yoga all about?
The 5 elements—earth, water, fire, wind and space—aren’t just a poetic idea. They shape your body, energy, mind, and all of your experiences. Chinese, Tibetan, and Ayurvedic health and self-care traditions are all based on understanding how the 5 elements show up as you.
Join Susan, an experienced yogini, Ayurvedic clinician, and maker of elemental jewelry, for an in-depth exploration of sensation and movement that reconnects you to the 5 elements.
Susan is one of my favorite asana teachers. She’s just so experienced and so real. The depth of her connection to the elements can be felt in everything she does. ~Shambhavi Sarasvati, spiritual director, Jaya Kula

Susan Fauman has been practicing yoga (asana) since 1996 and started teaching in 2000. Her Ayurvedic studies took her to India where she learned one-on-one with traditional Ayurvedic doctors for several years. Susan has been teaching Ayurveda and self-care to groups and individuals since 2004.
These days, Susan can mostly be found in her back garden workshop in Red Hook, NY where she makes gold, silver, and gemstone talismans for the fingers, ears, and neck based on the five elements and her many years of spiritual practice.
