The Magic Mansh, RI
179 Ontario St.
with Shambhavi Sarasvati
Get yourself a daily spiritual practice and discover healthier ways of relating.
Trika Foundations is a four-day immersion for people who want to establish or deepen their daily spiritual practice and learn about the View and practice of the direct realization tradition of Trika Shaivism.
Trika Shaivism, also known as Kashmir Shaivism, is the direct realization Tantrik tradition from North India. It is related in its view and methods to other direct realization traditions such as Dzogchen, Daoism, and Chan Buddhism.
The essence of all direct realization traditions is the understanding that we have an innate capacity to discover the nature of the self and reality using our own minds and senses. Self-realization means that through the direct encounter with living presence, we naturally come to more fully embody wisdom, spontaneity, devotion, and compassion.
Trika Shaivism is distinguished by its celebration of the diversity of manifest life and its emphasis on the heart as the gateway to primordial wisdom.
