What is Guru Yoga?
Guru Yoga means discovering that the unconditioned essence nature of the primordial Guru is the same as and continuous with your own real nature. Guru can be in the form of an accomplished teacher, an enlightened being, or a symbol of unconditioned wisdom such as a crystal or sound form.
You will receive a complete teaching in the meaning of Guru Yoga and opportunities to learn and practice various methods of Guru Yoga from Kashmiri and Tibetan direct realization traditions.
Guru Yoga is related to transmission. The practices of Guru Yoga are designed to give you an opportunity to receive a more direct transmission of your real nature and to abide in that.
What you will receive

- Opportunities to learn and practice methods of Guru Yoga from the Dzogchen and Trika traditions

You can join this teaching via two-way Zoom livestream or in person in Portland, Oregon. For livestream attendance, you’ll receive the zoom link via email after you complete your registration.

About the teacher
Shambhavi emphasizes the more explicitly devotional teachings and practices of Trika Shaivism and Dzogchen and direct knowing through encounters with the wisdom of the heart. She is also known for making complex teachings about the nature of the self and reality understandable, practical, and always relatable to everyday experience. Her teachings are grounded in her more than thirty-five years of daily personal practice and personal retreats.

All Jaya Kula teachings offer “regular”, “low-income”, and “supporting” options for registration. Just choose the option that’s appropriate for you.
